Here the Shanks, with or without bone.1 kg shanks
1 kg onion
3 tablespoons olive oil
50g butter (not margarine! Butter for flavor and strength but can also be replaced with extraolive oil)
1/2 (half) small can tomato paste
1 can of peeled tomatoes
6 cloves garlic
bouillon cube
salt and pepper
2 bay leaves
1 tablespoon sambal
Oil in pan until hot, add butter, when foam tank pulled steaks in oil / butter until lightly browned, about 3 minutes
Remove steaks from pan and make hot oil again.
Fry onion in oil over medium heat until light brown. Add crushed garlic, just well done.Remove from pan.
Make oil and extinguishing hot weather with 2 cups water.
Make flavored with bouillon cube, 1/2 can of tomato puree, 2 bay leaves, pepper and salt to taste, (possibly vinegar or white wine) and sambal.
Do beefsteak and onion / garlic back into pan, add chopped canned whole peeled tomatoesand let simmer about 3 hours.
After an hour and if necessary add additional water.
