Lisa’s Marriage Chocolate Chip Cookies

2 cubes butter softened (not melted) (1 cup total)

1 cup packed brown sugar

1 cup white sugar

2 eggs

1 tsp vanilla

0.5 tsp salt

1 tsp baking soda

1 tsp baking powder

2.25 cups flour

1 to 2 cups oats (optional and can vary, I usually put in close to 2 cups)

1 to 2 cups crushed cornflakes (optional and you can vary it, I usually put in close to 1 cup)

1 bag (2 cups) Guittard semi-sweet chocolate chips

Pre-heat the oven to 350 degrees F

Mix together butter, brown sugar, white sugar

Add eggs, mix some more

add vanilla, salt, b. soda, b. powder mix some more

add flour (mix)

add oats, cornflakes (mix)

add chips

place little mounds of dough on a greased cookie sheet and cook for 8-12 min. 16 min. less gooey, lightly crunchy texture.

The cookies will turn out better if you use one of those cookie sheets that has an air-pocket because it prevents the bottom from getting burned.
