White Beans: soak over night n cook 2hr
Black beans: soak over night n cook 45mins
Kidney beans: soak over night n cook 90mins
Red lentils: no soak n cook 10mins
French lentils: no soak n cook 20mins
Mountain lentils: no soak n cook 27mins
Green lentils: no soak n cook 30mins
500g beans
2-4 onions
2 tbsp bouillon/stock/salt
1 tbsp vinegar
2 tbsp sugar
1 tbsp soya sauce
200g tomato paste
2-3 stalks celery
2-3 carrots
1 tbsp black pepper
1 tbsp mustard seed
1 tsp coriander
Instructions:
Soak beans over night (8-48hrs) in lots of water
Drain and fill with fresh water again.
Cook till beings are ready and drain all remaining fluid.
Sauté all vegetables in a separate pot until golden and soft.
Combine all with desired liquid and add tomato paste. Cook till sauce thickens.
